I am re-appointing bunnyqueen - At-large Admin to bunnyqueen - OFTN Discussion Book Club Admin. She will be tending the book club from now on. any comments or questions that you have will be directed to her.
I hope that you will join the club and be supportive of her efforts in this endeavor. It is a simple feat in that you simply announce the title, author and number of pages of the book that you have decided to discuss & then discuss it as you read it at whatever point you feel you have time to.

About the Author
Born in Hampshire in 1983, Katie Piper refuses to let anything stand in her way. Since being the victim of an acid attack she has been more courageous than ever. Her Cutting Edge documentary Katie: My Beautiful Face won her a BAFTA nomination and was shown in 15 different countries around the world. In December 2009, she was selected to present Channel 4's Alternative Christmas Message. In Spring 2011, Katie also appeared in her Channel 4 show Katie: My Beautiful Friends.
Katie now runs her own charity. The Katie Piper Foundation is dedicated to raising awareness of the plight of burns victims and other disfigurement injuries. The charity also campaigns for the specialist treatment Katie received to become widely available in the UK, www.katiepiperfoundation.org.uk.
I am half way through this book at the moment. My feelings about this book so far is through out the pages I have read the strength and courage Katie shows shines through the book. There were many times when she could of given up but no she carried on and made sure she got justice. When she described what happened to her when she was attacked my heart went out to her. It is unbelievable that anyone could do that to another human being. I am in the part of the book when she describes about what it was like for her in court. All I can say is this woman is amazing.
