Update on DailyStrength Site Issues

Our engineering team has been hard at work fixing many of the bugs that have been reported since our successful migration. We are happy to report that the a code release is expected in the next 1 to 2 weeks that will resolve the following major issues as well as many smaller ones:

- Email digests
- Meebo Chat
- Recent Activity Feeds
- Journal Editor for IE9

We will communicate our progress as we get closer to the date of our next release.


Any more questions/ comments can be directed to our Daily Strength Community Leader Ichoppel who is designated by a small blue square insignia on the Neighbor's Gallery of pics beside yours.

DS has had both technical and behavioral problems as long as I remember. What I found most annoying was their reluctance or inability to address them. In the recent past we had a thread about people using DS to solicit money, stalk women, sell products by targeting the various groups (such as pills, books, and other products to the weight loss groups) or other acts that went unaddressed. We are pretty much on our own and at their mercy.

We are pretty much able through the report and ignore policy of Wandering Vet, and the good offices of the Community leaders to police ourselves in our groups. In any site upgrade, It has always been my experience that ds has problems and unintended consequences. As to the behavior problems, most of those come from "members" who are not here for the help that ds is able to provide. Actually, we, the members, provide the help. DS sells advertising, and uses that money to maintain the site, and a profit for the owners.

Yes there are and have been issues to address and solve, however it is a FREE site and I appeciate it very much. I would be lost without it.

Exactly 4 people Welcomed our Community Leader on that post !! None of you were among them - though forgive me for pointing this out at least one of you should have been!

That's part of bein a Good Neighbor - Readin ALL the posts - They are at least important to whoever posted them -- AND in this case Folks THAT WAS ME !!
