I have got this far,Anyway I am very sure you are very far from being NDY!! being five foot nothing I would

I've always liked Perry Como, and that is a beautiful song.

But I'm curious about the "blasphemy" restriction. By the strict definition, if I speak of some of my beliefs and opinions, I could easily violate it.

Thank Y'ALL for your opinions as they are very important to me as are all of you! I think THAT song says the sentiments of Over The Fence neighborhood ...Do you agree?

jacobwhelan - sorry I haven't had a chance to welcome you yet (That's my job to initiate the Welcomes)You are not the only person to Welcome today & I like to do them as they come in all at once! It is easier for me & others to Reply on when they are grouped together.
Also, i am in intensive weight loss therapy & work out each afternoon & evening at a health club. I wasn't here when you joined. I will correct that shortly.
In order to read the News you would go up to the top of the Discussion Board (the list of topics). You will see a blue band with words on it. Go to the word "News" and click on it with your mouse. There you will find a green link to the song I have chosen to represent the way, I, as Founder, feel that the attitude at Over The Fence is reflected.
If you want to listen to it click on it with your mouse...To get back to the group or anything else you want to return to ..just go to the top left arrow you see at the top of your screen & click there allowing time for your screen to change each time until you get back to the desired location you once were.
DO NOT click the X on the upper right corner of your screen until you are ready to leave that screen.

taowalker - IMO -I would love to hear all about your beliefs but not at the expense of other's belief. And vice versa... I want no one to criticize your beliefs. (OTF will not tolerate disrespect.)
Blasphemy is irreverent utterance or speaking about God / gods. That includes irreverent jokes or remarks that may be considered offensive regarding religion or anything pertaining to it. For instance you may say I believe such & such to be the case but you may NOT say those stupid # # s... OR you (whatevers) believe this (whatever) but you are wrong because ...
You may choose to take discussions like this up privately but even negative discussions can get you unfriended and continued harassment against religious groups or persons could possibly result in being banned.
Perhaps you may want to check with me privately in regards to stating your opinions. It is not the purpose of OTF to be restrictive just respectful & courteous.

Thanks for the clarification, NDY.

I have the greatest respect for, and am very supportive of, everyone's individual belief systems and would not say anything negative about them, religious or otherwise, unless that system was detrimental to the health or welfare of others (i.e., Al Qeada, Dove Outreach Center, Jim Jones, et al). I appreciate the same consideration, but there are those who see their way as the only way and are quite intolerant of those who believe otherwise, considering anything that is out of sync with them to be blasphemy. For that reason, and because I have no desire to proselytize or convert anyone, I tend to keep my beliefs to myself. But there are the occasional discussions where they may come out, so I was desiring clarification.

taowalker ~ That's cool. IMO I am a Christian. However, my father was a very tolerant person. He was one of the carter members of the NAACP, planted trees in Israel, was a member of Green Peace, and was even on FBI's list bec of some of the causes he supported! He raised me with the principle of human rights & dignity. I have founded this site & will (not tolerate) disrespect. If I see prejudice of any nature I will speak up! You will see me jump in there all the time keepin the Christians in line with "WWJD?" ALL the time!!

I guess you could say " I am prejudice AGAINST prejudice ITSELF !!!
