Wonderful Thanksgiving Week: (2011)
1. My 2 boys (EC) have come around & decided they want a relationship with good, ol Mom ; They decided Dad was "Full of IT""
2. Our Parish dedicated newly remodeled large church / school complex to house 5 churches damaged in extreme flood.
3. Free doubled -tiered, electric organfor grand kid's to play with / sitting by elevator with "Take me i'm Free" sign. Put in large shopping cart end up & wheeled to apt by muscle man who appeared out of no where from around corner!
4. Free complex odffice style computer desk with hutch, free wheeling cabinets, below & free standing with file drawers / shelves blonde formica with scanner, computer tower, 17" screen, plasma screen, by woman (unknown) who answered ad placed 20 miles away, who lives 3 blocks away in same town!
5. Told by management, after 8 yrs in residence, gettomg MEW litchen cabinets, infour days!
6. Thanksgiving dinner delivered by local church & a Big Hug ~ Children all off at in-laws!

So NDY is a dog in your future? Is this the year you finally bring home a rescue? We should talk about that some time.
Thanksgiving was nice. We have gone to my daughter Tiara's place every year since I moved in with Dan seven years ago. This year was a little more special because Tiara just bought her first house. My youngest son made it a little nicer by showing up and I guess he's still there right now. My grandsons were thrilled because Jason (my youngest) stayed through today. I baked five pies and left them all behind. There have been a few times since that I wish I'd have brought just one pie home, but it's good that I didn't.

My daughter ( Bless her heart ), my Care Giver, has had difficulty in coming to work every day.. I just called my case worker at 8:30 am to get somebody new for Sun, Mon, & Tues. I hated to do that namely as it is SO difficult to train a new worker. But I doggedly did it anyways ...
So the guys are here putting in my New Kitchen Cabinets..I was dead tired as she only was able to come in for 2 hrs yesterday - just long enough to do my laundry! Thank Goodness as she hadn't been in ALL week long & I was "out of Gutchies"! I had STAYED UP all night long slavin in that kitchen - Removing EVERYTHING from the cabinets & drawers - ALL by myself! So when the Installers came - I went to Bed!
I wasn't sleepin 2 hrs when the phone rang. It was my worker from last year wanting to know if I HAD ANY WORK! i told her - I sure did! she says SOMETHIN told her to call ME!! I said I kno THEY did & IT was God - God told you to CALL ME !!
GOD BLESS THAT HOLY SPIRIT !! GOD IS so G O O D to ME !! She is starting tomorrow morning!!
