Over The Fence Community Group
A quote from one of our happy Over The Fence members: "Hi JS- Thank you for the welcome message. Do you remember that show Home Improvement and the neighbor Wilson Wilson Jr. who would meet Tim the Tool Man at the fence, but never showed anything but his eyes? He was so funny. This group reminds me of those encounters... you get the wisdom, humor, and support from your DS...

Guess I'm in the minority who thought it was a bit offensive that they put an apostrophe into his last name to declare him Irish...I'm not sure what his mother's heritage is but if he is really Irish it's coming from her side in which case his last name doesn't apply so it just comes across as a dig. Surely we can all say a nice Happy St. Patrick's Day without needing to make political digs like this video clip does. But based on the comments here so far, I guess I'm the only one who is bothered by it...

All right are you Irish population in Okinawa - Line up !!
It was meant to be a funny take-off ( a parody ) when that Irish village turned out to greet him in 2008.. It was on all the news. Surely you remember or saw it or even heard about it?
Though St. Patrick's Day is a celebration of a saint who sacrificed his life - It is also traditionally a FUN day to celebrate when "all the world" is IRISH!
Our City of Pittsburgh has the 2nd largest St. Patrick''s Day Parade in the nation. We have a large Irish descendency here as well as an Irish-originated university (Carlow), college (La Roche) and hospital (Mercy) as well as a contingency of restaurants & pubs! Then there 's the churches that are too numerous to list here !!
There is plenty of IRISH to "go around" HERE in Pittsburgh, PA !!
