I am a professional cook (retired). I love to try different recipes. (Read recipe books like other people read Daniel Steele or sumethin) AND I tweak recipes & try different ingredients.
When I was a line chef in Vegas & when I cooked here in Pennsylvania professionally - There was NO room for creativity as the restaurants valued consistency above individual creativity. I CAN cook w/o a recipe & do so quite often when in a hurry.
Sometimes I buy things that are on Sale & then see what recipe I can adapt to it.
SO BASICALLY ~ YES ~ I LOVE RECIPES !!!

I love to cook, though I don't always find the time. One of my pass times is to read cookbooks and marvel at the pictures. I am a member of allrecipes.com. There are some great ideas, with reviews. Tasteofhome.com is another site that I check out.

I also like www.yahoo.com /Shine and Food.com. Recipezzar.com is for people who like to cook & submit their own recipes.. It is just folks not corporations!

I recentlly made Cabbage Pie. It is like a pie with cooked cabbage leaves instead of crust. You make a meatloaf like filling with cooked instant brown rice and diced tomatoes in it cover it tightly with foil. Bake it off at 400F for 45 in.

Everyone loved it - what's not to like?

Ingredients
U.S. Metric Conversion chart

1/2 teaspoon(s) dried chili powder
1/2 teaspoon(s) allspice
1 cup(s) cocoa powder
2 cup(s) hot water, or more, as needed
1/2 cup(s) honey, or more to taste



Directions

Mix the chili powder and allspice with the cocoa. Slowly add the 2 cups hot water to make a smooth liquid. Let the liquid infuse for 30 minutes. Transfer to a blender with the honey and process to create a frothy drink, adding water to obtain your desired consistency. Adjust the sweetness with additional honey, if desired. The drink should be somewhat bitter and refreshing.
