I decided to start this group after checking to see if anything such as a knee or shoulder injury was listed. There was none so that is why this group was started. I have been experiencing sharp pain on the left side of my shoulder. I underwent P.T, for four weeks after having sharp pain all of the time - an 8 - on a scale of one to ten being no pain to having an extreme amount of pain for two and a half mounts of pain. I consulted with a Rehabilitation doctor and she is the one who ordered the P,T, for me to have. I saw her last Wed. morning (first patient of the morning) and she requested an M.R.I. plus having treatment two times a week starting on June 10 & 12. I go back to see her on July 8, This pain is so bad that I have to take a Norco and a Hydrazine every four hours as needed, That is my story now tell my yours.
Hi, I have Plica syndrome. I badly injured my knee in 2017 and developed Plica syndrome right after the injury healed. I did 13 weeks of physical therapy with my pain range going from about 5-10 on a scale of 1-10. It didn't work and I got surgery on March 19th 2019. It was a scary experience but I had very good doctors and my surgery was successful. I am still healing and still have slight pain here and there but everything is on the up and up. P.S sorry this is 4 yrs after you posted this
