I am thrilled to have found this group and thankful to have someone to share this not so pleasant experience with. I have been dealing with histo for 16 years but it was dormant in my right(good) eye until Jan of 2010. I have found support groups to be a great way to inquire about isssues and share experiences I feel only we can understand. I lost central vision in my left eye in 1995 and had the first occurance in my right eye two years ago. Since then I have received Avastin and now Lucentis injections. My last injection was in Novemeber. It was my third injection in a row and there was not any active bleeding so I was given the month of Dec "off" with a check up scheduled for early Jan. During the last few weeks I have been experiencing an unusual amount of floaters as well as several small gray spots that seem to move around my central field of vision. Mostly noticed on computer screen or reading anything. I became very concerned and visited my local eye doc who can measure changes as well from past test. He ran the test and compared it to last month and there was no change. He also dialated my eyes but still found nothing new. I guess this is my new "normal". I'm just having a hard time adjusting. I have been getting headaches from eye strain and find myself moving my head around more. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
I've only been experiencing the blurry spot in my left eye and only the floaters after receiving my Avastin injections for a about 24 hours. I know it's been a few years but I'd like to hear how you're doing sarkwhite.
