My head is always killing me. I went to the hospital and have been seeing a neurologist for a constant headache. He said occipital neuralgia and he has given me a steroid injection to the head and a pill to sleep. Nothing helps. Anyone have any tips on how to help?
When I first got my diagnosis I got put on gralise with is basically long term gabapentin. That helped as did nerve blocks and my rhizotomy. You have to be pretty proactive with this and demand procedures and new medications because a lot of doctors don't realize the pain it really puts you through. Best of luck and message me if you have questions. Sadly I'm going on 5 years of dealing with this stupid disease
