Neurofibromatosis Support Group
Neurofibromatosis is usually noncancerous. There are three types of this condition. Type 1 usually appears in childhood, while Types 2 and 3 appear in early adulthood. Type 1 can cause bone deformities, learning disabilities, and high blood pressure. Type 2 can cause hearing loss, vision loss, and difficulty with balance. Type 3 can cause chronic pain throughout the body....
This may sound like a weird topic for this board, but I'm not too sure where else to ask it. Also, I've been a member on the board for awhile and everyone seems pretty laid back.
My wife and I are swingers and have been for about 5 years. We've been going to a local swingers club every weekend for most of those 5 years, but as I start to get more bumps, I'm getting more self conscious, and I don't like going anymore. All the women I've been with while swinging say they don't mind the bumps, and they always say "Everyone has something, don't worry about it", but I still worry. Has anyone else experienced this?
My wife and I are still VERY interested in swinging and I've actually thought about starting a Yahoo group, or website for NF swingers, but don't think it would help me, or others meet anyone, because I don't know if there are a lot of swingers with NF. I know I can't be the only one, but I doubt the number is that high.

I too hate anyone seeing my bumps we all have that worry you are not alone there.
Starting your own support group is a great idea.

Potection is the key you sau? There no protection from Oral sex. Wear your raincoat and lust all you want. I just do not see the
enjoyment in that type of activity. And to share YOUR wife with
another man? What kind of ***&*^ marriage is that? I do not believe you needed to share you activities with us in this message board. No needt to reply.. If I could block your name and your messages I would.
This is a support group remember. This is something that is a MAJOR part of our lives. To be completely honest, my wife and I are looking for a wife (it's called a triad relationship, not Polygamy, because we would all be married to each other) and NF has probably made that impossible.
You should know as well as I do that it's not fun when NF makes it almost impossible to do something that you consider to be important and one of the reasons you wake up each day.
I'm not on this site to be judged, just to find out if I'm not alone and for the record, I don't share my wife with another man, I share her with another woman.
way to 'catch' something you wont be able to get rid of.

unless HE and his FEMALE partner use a condom over their
tongue then a condom over HIS organ will not protect him
or HIS swiging female friend from an STD. Nor will it
protect his WIFE from catching something. I couldn't care
less if he owned a brothel and had relations with every female
he employed and interviewed. His SWINGING lifestyle has no
place in THIS discussion board.
If it has to do with NF, then anything and everything belongs in this message board. I'm surprised more people haven't talked about how NF has affected their sex lives.
I've received several private messages from members supporting me on this topic and mentioning how they are self conscious during bedroom activities because of NF, so I know a lot of other members don't have a problem with this topic.
Notice this is a Neurofibromatosis support group and not a still living in the 50s, morality, see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil, support group. I encourage everyone in this group to talk about anything and everything NF related. People should not be afraid to ask personal questions because of fear of persecution from other NFers.
