Isn't it about time for Ted Kennedy to admit that he has NF. Wouldn't it be great for us to have someone like that standing up for us? He has had several large bumps removed from his face, I really think he does have it. Now the seizures. Wonder what they will actually say.

It would be great to have Ted Kennedy to acknowledge that he has NF but i don't think that he ever will due to the fact that he is a Kennedy. They will probably keep it out of the media

He has had several bumps removed from his face. As has Robert Redford. I mean what are the chances that no one famous has it. They just have the money to get the plastic surgery to have things removed when they come up.

I never even thought about Sen. Kennedy having NF until the news about his tumor.

Is it possible to have his type of tumor without having NF?

If he really does have NF2 and does not go public, I will be disappointed that he does not step forward.

It is my understanding that it is possible to have the glioma he has without having NF, but I still think he has it.

I WISH ANY ONE WHO WAS FAMOUS AND HAD NF OR FAMILY MEMBERS WOULD COME FORTH. WHEN I WAS DIAGNOSED IN THE LATE '50's I FELT LIKE I WAS THE ONLY PERSON ON EARTH WHO HAD NF.
IT IS GETTER KNOWN NOW BUT STIIL ISN'T GIVEN FAIR COVERAGE. THINK HOW MANY PEOPLE IT WOULD HELP

Yes, the type of tumor Senator Kennedy has is probably the most common brain tumor that adult (non-NFers)can get. In fact, if he had NF the prognosis might be better as these tumors tend to be more aggressive in non-NFers.

I would never wish NF on anyone. But if he does have NF. I bet the Gov will get off their butts. And find a cure.

Gillian Anderson (I think thats her last name_ does support NF she has a realitive with nf according to some reports I have seen at dr offices
