Hi, I'm a 20-year-old student in Orlando, FL interested in trying Nuerocranial restructuring. I honestly think this treatment will work for me and fix all my problems and jaw pain considering that I've been dealing with it all my life. I've researched so much about this topic to the point that I don't think I could find any more resources. I know there is a clinic led by a chiropractor named Dr.Frank who performs this type of treatment in zephryhills. That's about only an hour and a half away from me so its not too bad. I've heard of people who had to travel across the country to get NCR. But I have been having intense jaw pain, mouth clenching, and teeth grinding and definitely fit the criteria as an NCR patient (asymmetry and poor posture, breathing problems. etc.). Most of this was caused by my experience with orthodontics and having my teeth straightened with braces when I was 16. I only had braces on for a year and a half, but the damage was horrible. First, i had an open bite and malocclusion so the orthodontist literally just pushed back my teeth which grinded the hell out of my top teeth. And now I have this constant struggle to keep my tongue inside my mouth, without having to clash my upper and lower teeth on the left side. Anyways, I was told by my orthodontist to go get my wisdom teeth taken out because of all the pain, but I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT want to do that as I have seen tooth extractions make the issue worse. Yes, people with wisdom teeth removal encounter more misalignment in the teeth with the new ones growing in and a saggier image to the face. I did not want to go through that as I already have a vertical growing face thats getting worse and worse by the day. I have tried acupuncture, massages, and other remedies but none seem to work. My main concern is how expensive NCR would be because prices could be up to $800 and I'm wondering if there is a DIY method to this. I'm really at a dead end with my teeth adding more pressure by the day. I've tried to ignore this, but it seems my mouth just hurts more and more. If anyone knows anything about any local florida NCR practitioners near Orlando please contact me and give any information. It would be much appreciated. Also I'd like to know that if I were to do this type of treatment whether I'd have to reverse the effects of braces by removing my permanent retainer before doing NCR. thank you :)
