I just read a newspaper story about a guy and his dad going deep sea fishing in the Gulf of Mexico and it reminded me about the last time I went fishing in the Gulf. I was married and the company my father-in-law worked for went on a fishing trip every year and he invited me to go along. Now, I'd been fishing in the Gulf only one time before when I was a kid and remembered it well because I'd gotten seasick and didn't have any dramamine. Sooo, the first thing I did was buy some. The instructions said to start taking it about 6 hours before getting on the boat. My 2 brothers-in-law(one a year old than me and the other 10 years younger) made fun of me all the way to the coast. I offered them some but they said they didn't need or want any. I took all the recommended doses and other than feeling a little sleepy, I felt alright. When everybody got on the boat, the captain said there were some rules. Among them was if you got seasick, go to the rail of the boat. NOT THE HEAD(RESTROOM)! Well, when we got in the Gulf, the younger brother-in-law got sick and went to the head where he made a big mess since a rocking boat doesn't allow for good aim for anything. His dad had to clean up the mess. The older brother-in-law tried to make to the rail when he got sick and came up short. and Dad helped clean up the mess. Then, Dad then got sick, but made it to the rail. As his breakfast polluted the Gulf, his upper plate(denture) came out and followed the rest. As we watched the plate glide into the 100 foot deep water, I looked at him and asked, "Would you like some dramamine?"
