Bad dreams

Lately I've been having flashbacks about my narcissists behavior. Recently I've had bad dreams about getting blamed for things that weren't my fault by my narcissist and last night I dreamt of arguing with her and getting very angry and in the dream and in this dream she had the same snobby I don't care I'm better then you tone just like real life. Even though she hasn't been as bad lately I still walk on egg shells around her if she is stressed or upset.

I'm sorry I didn't see this post sooner. It's difficult when you can't even escape your narcissist in your dreams. : ( I'm sorry you've felt the need to walk on eggshells. For me, dealing with a narcissist feels like tiptoeing through a minefield.

In another post, you asked whether you are responsible for somehow bringing on your narcissist's behavior, and the answer is no -- not at all. The disorder has its origin in childhood, and you didn't do anything to cause it.

Thank you ladybug7 I appreciate it. It’s only as an adult I began to acknowledge what had happened to me.
