I haven't posted for several months, but today was just too much!! Until 6 weeks ago, I had blocked N on Facebook. I decided I could handle the temptation to not look at his page and if he looked at mine - fine. I wanted him to see I was doing well all things considered. For some reason, I had the feeling things might not be going so well in his nearly one year marriage. Today, after considering all negative effects I could imagine, I looked at his page. Nothing unusual, but did give me some things to discuss with my therapist when we do phone therapy this evening. And I walked around the house saying she must be a better person and easier to get along with than I am because she can live with N and be happy. Yes, I wrote that!! About an hour ago, I checked my email. There was one from the N in Junk. I couldn't believe it!! This is what he said: He is ok. He and wife should have gotten to know each other better before getting married, but they are getting counseling so he expects it will help. He hasn't been to his home in my area for a year but expects to in the next week or so. Yikes!! Finally, validation!!! I'm almost giddy!! She needs the book called "Why Do They Do That" and look up Mr. Sensitive!! And I need to be VERY careful because if he should travel to my area there is always the chance he might hoover. An old bf now married "still loves me", another married guy I dated and haven't heard from for 25 years called me and left his cell # to call him so there must be something in the air!! Thanks for listening......my Corgi gets bored with all this stuff:)
