Have not been on here for almost two years. Sad to see it has almost died, similar to my drive and determination to heal. Left a turbulent narcassistic mentally abusive relationship almost two years ago. Thought I would bounce back. Wow was I wrong. Depression is back, family is distant and just surviving. So sad to see this group not busy and thriving. Not that I want to see people hurting but any stretch but for heaven's sake now we even have a narcassist needy toddler like attention craving wacko president in the White House. Watch out word. God Bless all. Hope any friends out there still have improved and moved on!! Sunny

How are you doing? Are you feeling any better now? I wanted to thank you for taking the time reply to my post a while back. I haven't had much access to internet for a bit & had to be careful before moving about computer use (you know how that goes. But I do plan on being on here more regularly now.

It is taking much longer to get back to feeling somewhat normal but going through the motions. Starting to sleep again at night and do still go to my menial job and have a tiny but functional apt. Way I view it ten years of hell is not going to be easy to get over, if ever. How about yourself? It gets lonely, but I could be lonely with him in the same room. His sister became his most recent flying monkey lately and I blatantly told her no way in hell would I go back to that constant mental abuse.

Want to add I have also started attempting to get out of this rural area and back to city life near my small family and a few friends. I have had some interviews and just getting through those, and getting call backs, two offers and worse pay that I have now, which is poverty level, so sad out there in the work force, especially at mid life BUT I see some light. I even look forward to interviews just as a plus and good practice and a chance of pace and scenery. slow but sure.
