Thank you all for words of encouragement, questions and all else the past few days. I had to come in and warm my hands. They brought me papers, so still have a job at the moment :-) (whew)! And tomorrow meeting someone from big church, they sent a man to look at car and Sunday will work on it with me in his big warm heated garage (thank you!!!). And I was right (my brain does work yay!!) and the lug stud was moving and messing up the ability of the wheel to move. SO my hands are warm, wanted to share the good news and giive thanks to you all, you strengthen me and maybe you don't know how much your own qualities shine for others; they do!! So I am going to try again, with hopes high and a spare tire on back seat! Later for now!

That is awesome news!!! There are good people in this world too. Stay warm!!! I know it's cold here and I'm in layers this week but happy we still have power with the storm that came through - and I've got wood and water!!! Ah the little things that keep us going.

Dadda, tonight the term lug stud makes laugh. Is that not exactly what n is? A stud that turns into a lug and blocks your momentum?? Hmm, maybe that will be my new term e for him. Glad you had some positive in your day!

Venturing, I am so glad you didn't lose power. I was without for 3 days back a while, all my neighbors had it back same day in that ice storm ... I truly felt I was being singled out and punished!

And Quepasa, that made me laugh! I am running off to work (again, still have job, thank you!!) but I will picture five miniatures of him circling around the axle ... or him, his mom and a few others ... hahaha vicarious gratification!

One man helped me look at the car last evening. Supposed to meet with him Sunday. Warm garage to work in. Yay! And met with pastor today. And will catch up with y'all a bit later. It feels SO GOOD to do 50 and not be bouncing (well, I couldn't do more than 35 before tire change, actually LOL) ... and not to be sliding off-road every few minutes. SUCH a relief!

ok ... a bird exploded in my heater ... at least, it was all full of dried up feathers, stuffed into the motor part and the blower (which sort of looks like a hamster wheel). The man from the church called me Saturday afternoon and I took my car over that evening; my back brakes were shot. Every time using them, I was squirting fluid! He told me to leave it and he brought me home; told me to take "a day off". I did ... I woke up sometime Sunday afternoon ... yesterday I drove a car that again goes 50 -60 no problem, no shaky, spinning off the road tires (thank goodness, as weather yesterday was horrendous). My windshield wipers work!! He changed those, too and a motor mount. Apparently the most critical was getting "iffy".

Am trying to plow through and get some cleanup, get rid of done. So will catch up with all of you after a bit ... off to work for a bit, too.

What a blessing. I am so glad he was able to fix all that and now you shouldn't have to worry as much driving. to me those are the little miracles in life when just our basic needs are met when we are at our end sometimes. LOL - I've had nests and things under the hood. Amazing how fast. Glad it was dried feathers!!!
