My Lord. He is SO immature! I am sorry he is acting out this way.

I am going to contact my lawyer, for sure and yes, make a police report ... as far as I know, I don't KNOW who took them ... even if it does seem obvious. I am a bit upset, because I think that since my attorney KNOWS he has a gambling problem, there should have been an injunction ordered about selling property belonging to us ... some sort of addressing it. Each bicycle cost several hundred dollars, Lord knows what he is selling them for ... but he let our daughters car go in as trade for $500 when 2/3 cars here were broken down ... I think I have a picture of one of the bicycles and I may have receipts for them (more paperwork ... yay!). And I think I have the info on the mower ... including the serial number.

I just have a hard time believing that I have listened for years on what a low-life I am; the thing that makes me sort of sad is that I am coming to the conclusion that all the money that is "gone" HAS been wasted, mostly on lottery tickets. If he'd had a drug habit, I think our financial situation would be better as drugs would have killed him or become super obvious and forced treatment, etc before all this damage was done. And since I remember there were smaller amounts going out back in 1998, which I lost track of that fact with all the chaos that ensued, panic attacks and etc, it would seem that the whole idea for the (1st) divorce was planted in his mind by the attorney who drew up the first "settlement" that awarded him everything ... he just didn't go through with it in 1998 because it would never have held up in Court, which I never realized til this last year ... so everything has basically been going to feed a gambling addiction since way back.

I have a mind to contact Social Security, as I filed a report in 2003 on behalf of our daughters, who were not getting ANY dental or medical care, despite his receiving $1000 -$1500 a month for their needs. I asked them about it in 2010 when I asked to be the representative payee; I was told they "never investigated". I still have a copy of the report I made ... I ended up paying a lot of money from my own pocket to make sure they got dental cleanings, their immunizations and all.

Either way, I am going to continue to press the state ... it is LUDICROUS that you can't stop a problem or pathological gambler ... estimated that 1 - 3% of people are in that category ... they can destroy the whole family's finances and there is NOTHING to stop them? But the state gets their share of the "profits". And I KNOW that this is the whole impetus behind his affair ... to get money (and some prestige from "hot new chic".). Crazy, crazy ... and they all claimed it was me who was that.

Love the title. Sorry about the mower and bikes. Yes, a police report. and maybe a new shiny silver combination lock?? That way he can't locate the keys...

Livelife: I honestly would never have dreamed he would start stealing things so brazenly ... I honestly think that is the thing I tried to warn him about ... that he fell into an illusion, a fantasy and it all seemed real ... but when you know what you are doing is wrong and you do it anyway ... it's weird, but you either freak out and try to fix things (smarten up) or you keep trying to hide behind illusions ... but it is just like drugs, etc. Everybody knows except the person(s) in denial. He has NEVER been in trouble with police, money, etc. but he refuses to face that he is/has been any part of "the problem". Sad thing (for him) I was completely willing to shoulder the financial burden AND the hard work of being supportive/encouraging, if he got help (and came clean, at least with God). I personally think he is going to have a hard time til he dies ... cause I just can't see what he is going to attract with all the baggage he has now heaped onto himself. I didn't see this divorce as "win/lose". I knew I couldn't change his mind and tried ... futilely, to persuade him to do things amicably and without more disaster and expense ... so he makes no sense at all ... so willing to destroy me; I'd have been GONE a year ago, if I'd had my druthers ... would have taken MY bike ...but he could be doing whatever he wanted by now with all else ... just crazy!

Struck me as funny, as my exN stole two of my lawn mowers from two separate properties on the same day.
We were never married, so no divorce process. It is incredible what evil idiots they are.

BedHog, were the mowers worth much? The one that he took would start but not stay started; I found a lawnmower repair guide and was set to try ... I mean, when I SEE what is going on, it blows my mind ... I sometimes wonder what I DON'T know about ... but I have found out enough I don't need to explore, that is for sure!

I still can't wrap my mind around throwing maybe hundreds of dollars away at a time ... although it's said that men blow "chunks" and women "fritter" money ... and yes, I have wasted money before. I mean, when they are stealing things so blatantly, seems like it looks just like drug or alcohol dependence and you CAN take steps there.

Funny thing is, if you marry them (or live with), "theft" is often considered a "civil" matter but if you don't know them from Adam, it's "criminal". Kind of wondering, BedHog, if you did anything or just took the loss?
