5:30 Friday night. Courts and attorneys closed for the weekend. Ex-brother-in-law comes up driveway and tells me he is now the owner and I need to vacate immediately.
Last week, I checked with sheriff''s department and was told there would have to be "eviction process" with hearing scheduled if private party bought it (in fact, not even that if the people were decent and understanding). So this deputy tells me I "have the weekend", now. No place to take my things and only have the car.
Later, my daughter's boyfriend tells me that her father talked with her and he has "paid" for her to be able to stay until she moves. Boyfriend tells me this, then a bit later tells me not to say anything because my daughter doesn't want me to know (she is visiting a friend and won't be back til tomorrow).
Earlier, I was trying to figure my budget and place to go.
Since ex-brother-in-law was next door mowing his mother's lawn yesterday and he could have told me then, I think I must have a legal leg to stand on. Finding it though? What a disaster. I can see why the suggestion to post on the sociopath page ... actually, have been getting this a while now ...

And yes, this weekend. I feel bad for my daughter, though, too. I know that she is being put in a bind and no matter what she does, she can't win. Why is there NOBODY out there with a little power/authority who will use it in the face of such obvious injustice (fraud)?
