I will pray for your Dad and I will continue my prayer for a cure for MDS.
Prayer is what gives hope, relieves fears, and brings blessings. May everyone that blogs on this site continue to pray, for their family, themselves, others enduring this disease, and a cure to be found.

Your father is also in my prayers. I just wanted to share one of my favorite prayers that I like to keep in mind. It is the Serenity prayer.

God, give us grace to accept with serenity
the things that cannot be changed,

which should be changed,

Dad didn't have to get blood monday but goes tomorrow. while his counts were still over 8 then he seems to be really sliding downhill. He is very weak today. The transfusions don't seem to really help him feel better anymore.

Sorry your Dad is still struggling thru, Posh.

Thought I'd pop in for some prayer.... please. I'm getting a bit desparate. I believe in God and He knows me.

"A merry heart does good like a medicine, but a broken spirit dries the bones." I feel like this is me. I've lost what I am living for. Need some help to find it.

thanks hon. I will surely keep you in my prayers. We can never have enough of those! When times are the hardest is when we need Him the most.

Just stopping by to offer support and prayers for anyone in need. Know that each day is a blessing for us to have, even when we feel down and out. I am having a few of those down and out days myself but I am trying to stay positive and do those things that make me happy. Try to take pleasure in even the small things like reading a book, taking a relaxing bath, or doing anything you enjoy.

he is doing ok for now. still getting weaker but seems to have stablized somewhat. he started eating again and honestly I think that made the huge difference. he now goes every 9 to 10 days for blood checks and blood. I am praying for everyone here and everywhere that is affected by this horrible illness!

I believe very much in the power of prayer. My prayers for all of us struggling, whether it be patients or caregivers. I love LaDawn's second prayer. It speaks volumes.

I want to boot this back up to the top so it don't get buried!

please pray for a friend of mine. She is not much older than me and was just diagnosed with breast cancer. her name is Amelia

please pray for my dad. he now has shingles!

My love, thoughts, and prayers are with everyone on this board and who suffers from this horrible disease. My father turns 75 next month and is saying this will be his last birthday. He has lost several siblings the last few years with the most recent being last month. He is one of 4 remaining out of 10. Need to find a way to bring up his spirits :(.
