Blood tests

I tested mildly positive for Acetylcholine receptor antibodies when presenting to my GP with right sided numb face and slightly droopy right eye, also floaters in right eye. Symptoms have continued on and off with slight muscle weakness and some joint swellings. Second blood test was negative and Neurologist not convinced I have MG! I’m confused about the blood results. Surely if you a positive test with associated symptoms this is a good indicator of MG? I’m at a loss! He thinks it may be fibromyalgia and facial migraine. Any thoughts?

Hi Len. Sorry for the late reply. I haven’t been on the page for a while. Keep fighting. Keep asking questions. Fibro is a bag they put us in whe. They have no idea what is going on. You are the one knowing how you feel and facing the consequences every single day, I have double seronegative MG. 4 neurologists told me I was crazy and delusional before someone dared to listen and do more than reading blood tests results. Stay strong. I hope you get the help you need.

Blood test normally come back normal I have had the fine needle test my left side of my face my muscles didn't work that pointed to MG my left eye drops I also get Stoke like symptoms one minute my neuro says its points to MG then she says its bells posy I am having breathing problems also very tired dizziness and I can not get any help.
My neuro put me on mestinon 60x 3 per day. I have asked for a second opinion.
