Because I just discovered some of my favorite things.

I moved to an area that actually has seasons - I moved from Southern California - which has no seasons - except getting a little hotter in the summer and a little cooler in the winter.

So now I'm closer to Northern California and I love it.

I'm at the foothills of the High Sierras.

The leaves on my trees are turning bright golden and red - what a gorgeous sight this is. Two weekends ago it snowed!! I have never seen snow falling before - I've seen it after it gets to the ground but not coming down and wow.

I woke up to the most gorgeous sight. I saw the trees all the way to the Sierras with snow on their branches - it looked like a very long white blanket - and the trees in my back yard - well it was exactly like those beautiful scenes you see on Christmas cards.

Had I known that nature could be this beautiful - I would have moved a long time ago.

So these beautiful aspect of natue have now become some of my favorite things.

What a great idea for a group. Sharing happy stuff will be great for the soul - I think we get bombarded with enough negativity in life. This will be a nice respite.
