I moved recently - and my new neighbors are definitely some of my favorite "things".
This is a closed community - with a lot of safety for the residents. I like that - but I also like the people here.
The president of our association lives across the street and he's a doll. If I am just standing in my front yard, these people stop to talk to me - introduce themselves - welcome me and wish me luck.
It's a very special tree-lined street - with people waving at each other as they go by.
A gentleman down the street has terminal cancer and they all got together and had a huge pot luck at his house to keep him company and make sure he had all he needed to stay healthy - well as healthy as he could stay. I just love these people - they are definitely some of my favorite "things".

Augus - I moved away from an area with HORRIBLE neighbors - I'm sorry you have a bad one - it can make life a bit tense.

I do have to tell you guys one thing that my friend across the street said. "If you aren't friendly around here - we'll bring friends to you" - he's such a sweetheart. I just love these people.

I wish I could list mine as one of my favorite things - but that's just not happening right now.

As for Argus, sorry about that pal! Luck of the draw, I guess. Maybe you and the rest of the neighborhood could chip in, and send them on an extended vacation. Then while they are gone, sell their house! LMAO
