I can just imagine how your bed blankets and linens look like. Lol
I would so love to have my doggy in bed with me but I know it would create problems for when my husband comes home to visit. She does have a tendency to be a bit jealous at times and so I am keeping those boundaries set.
She goes to her bed at night time in another room and she behaves well.
I go to my bed and cuddle a stuffed rabbit. Lol
Me and my doggy do have cuddle times during the day and evening when I am watching tv. she's a love bug.
When that time comes For you and you have a companion I think you would have to create boundaries and do some training I suppose unless your friend wouldn't mind sharing the bed. Lol
I love dogs.
What kind of dog do you have. Age? How long have you had him?
Mine is a cocker spaniel mix with a Labrador. She's black with a white stripe down her chest. She's 27lbs. She has the softest coat. She's around 3 yrs. we adopted her from ASPCA two yrs ago.
I bet you two look adorable all tucked in and snoozing away!
I too want to know all the skinny on this cute puppy....do tell.
My sweet kitty used to come out to stand by my car door every single day when I used to get home from work. Every day I would open the car door and say "hi sweetheart" to my girl. And you know how dogs are - they are always thrilled to see you when you come home too.
Cats - I didn't know they were so loving until I owned 2 - or they owned me - not sure which. But brightbard and August - I so identify with how you feel about your cats. brightbard - my little pup stays glued to me throughout the night too - irritating at times but heck - he's my buddy....
naturegulr and MsBlank - actually I have two dogs. They're both rescues - from shelters and they are a hoot. And they BOTH sleep on the bed. Thank God I have a king sized bed or I'd be on the floor......
The "little pup" is actually 45 lbs. but he's much littler than the other one. She's a Chow/Boxer mix - and resembles a junk yard guard dog - bless her heart but she is the sweetest girl ever. She is 95 lbs, very protective - black with a little white on her chest. My "little pup" is a blond Shepherd mix. They are real characters.
You should have seen them the first time they saw snow....it was hilarious - they were a little scared of it....too funny. Don't we just love our four legged friends?
