Musicians... Old and New Community Group
Aimed really at grouping together musicians of any kind suffering from health problems, confidence issues or people struggling to meet and play with others, covering:: How to get started on various instruments. Basic songwriting discussions. Singing/vocals Tips on confidence or sharing with others Tips for recordings yourself or writing down your songs + more ! : )
Here I aim to both get and receive help on my journey to conquer the guitar. I realise I need more help and encouragement as my negative thinking tends to strike me down rather hard if I leave myself to myself too much. For those of you who've listened to my stuff for the past year poetry or musically thank you so much I really couldn't continue without your feedback.

Group should be good, as a musician i love talking about music to other people who acctually play it!
Guitar player for 12 years, into Metal, rock, blues, flamenco, classical a whole bunch of different stuff. Currently recording a demo to have realeased by Jan 2010!
I can play Guitar, bass, drums, ukulele, mandolin, keys, zither, musical spoons and I used to be able to play the bugle but its been soooooo long I doubt I could get middle C out of one.
Im into all sorts of music, right across the spectrum from techno to classical to punk. Music has to have energy and passion for me to like it. Im a great fan of world music and the old Russian revolutionary songs still make me gurn like a fool.

Currently learning acoustic guitar and harmonica.. have dabbled with lead guitar but my scales knowledge is nearly zero.
That's all! just paid 240 pounds for a mic / mixer/preamp combo to start doing some more serious recordings.
For guitar I have two Gibson Les Pauls, a '60 and a '78, a gibson 12 string 6 string double neck and a Kramer Van Halen model with Floyd Rose. Seymour Duncans in all guitars. A '71 100 watt Marshall stack w/Celestion "greenbacks", a Line 6 true diversity wireless, Sabine tuner, A/DA MP-i preamp and echo/chorus flanger, and a Korg digital delay. I've got ATA flight cases for the rack mount gear, speaker cabinets, amp head and guitars.
I play speed metal, '80s glam rock, blues and I have written a dozen originals, although I am shy on the lyrics for them all. I can do some lead vocals, and certainly can cover backups.
I am looking for a full time traveling band as I have no wife, job, animals, children or any baggage to keep me from heading down the road.
