Okay, this is more in my comfort zone, thanks for that, my little Toelette!!
Damn it Toe, I really do not know who sang that. I have a bad feeling about my abillity to even do this now.
Can we do limericks, or have lunch at Casa Vega instead?? Love me those Rellenos, and I know you love your Tacos. I won't even drink, because I love and respect you so. Ooops, sorry for being too nice.
Moving on. IDK what the toe's song is. Much less who sang it. Are you in love or something? Nice lyrics, but no, I do not remember
Okay "Twenty Twenty Twenty Four Hours ago....I wanna be sedated
Nothing to do, nowhere to go home.
I WANNA BE SEDATED!
No hints, plenty of clues in the lyrics. Can we do more than one line of a lyric. Great!!! Thanks hon.
"They say I gotta go to Rehab,
I won't GO GO GO!
Yes I've been bad,
and duh da duh duh.
(Forgot the some of these lyrics).
You big Ho, Ho, Ho!.
They tell me that I need some Rehab,
I won't GO, GO, GO!!
"They say I gotta go to Rehab,
And I say NO, NO NO!!
Yes I've been bad,
and duh da duh duh.
(Forgot the some of the lyrics).
You big Ho, Ho, Ho!.
They tell me that I need some Rehab,
I won't GO, GO, GO!!
Because you're mine...I walk the line.
I have no idea what Tinder is caterwauling about up there. Here's my song.
The moment I wake up, before I put on my makeup.....
Second is "Rehab: by Amy Winehouse
"I've seen a million faces, and I've rocked them all"
Jan, I love the lyric that you listed, in fact, I can relate, quite literally. lol. I've been a bad bad girl. In my past of course. thankfully I have now returned to my "Perfect Angel" place in this world. LMFAO.
I wish I knew the answer to the Million faces quote, does anyone else know?? I must know what this song is. Or where the lyric came from. I want to see the entire song's lyrics. That's how much I need to know the answer. Believe me, I like to be right, and wish I could be right. But how I pay the games, is by answering only the questions I know. I don't google anything. I don't do Wiki or Pedia for that matter.
Need to wait until someone answers the lyric of yours. Also, I am distracted right now, and can't think of anything. More later. GREAT Lyric Jan!!
Sorry OT, back to Johnny Cash and Walk the Line. I just rewatched the movie about him, Walk The Line, plus watched a documentary about the 1968 live concert he did at Folsom Prison. He was told he couldn't sing certain songs, or say certain words, and like me, he the HAD toi make the rules. he was a little shit disturber just like me!! I LOVE Johnny Cash. I knew I'd heard the lyric, and actually have been singing that song, for days now, since I just rewatched Walk the Line.
See, this is what I like so much about this group. Many of us here have "issues" that we are working hard to recover from. Physical and mental. Lotsa issues out there these days,.
Shels, thanks for starting this topic for me, I love you for it. Also, I am sorry to be messing with you STopic, have I really made you mad or upset, by blatently disobey your rules? Real talk here, I am genuinly sorry if I have. You have helped me so very much over these past few years. I thank you for that.
Still want to wait to post another lyric, until Jan's lyric has been revealed. I really don't know it. And as I said before, I don't do Wiki or Pedia. .
Now let's see who can remember the name of this song and who sang it......... a blast from the past so to speak........................
I'm ridin' in your car, You turn on the radio. /You're pullin' me close, I just say no. I say, "I don't like it." But you know I'm a liar. 'Cause when we kiss, ...
Oh no, Miss KB, IDK what the song is, but I remember those lyrics. I can hear the song. But sadly,
my Part Timer's Syndrome is acting up today. Anyone?
I won't post a lyric until this one is answered.
Here is one from another one of my favorite songs:
"I was headed to church",
"I was off to drink you away"
And you were correct on the song Fire but I do believe it was on the charts longer when the pointer sisters sang it versing when Bruce Springsteen sang it.
This is a song I really like but it might be hard to guess so I will give a few lyrics:
That old dog has you chained up alright
Give you everything you need
To live inside a twisted cage
Sleep beside in empty rage
I had a dream I was your hero
Okay, here is another one"
Stop right there!
I gotta know right now
Before we go any further
