Two years ago, I got a call in the middle of the night telling me my 26 year old daughter was being arrested for some very serious crimes. I lived in Georgia and she lived in Oregon with her two children (on and off again). They also stayed with their heroin addicted dad. We did what we could from GA, found an attorney via Google (NEVER EVER AGAIN).
We got her children in GA with us (ages 4 and 7), no discipline, talked back, the oldest boy has severe ADHD, both had severe head lice, in a two bedroom apartment. It was total dysfucntion. We risked our professional careers to move to where she is so she could have contact with her children but the DOC is blocking that. I am so frustrated, it is hard to speak. It will be two years May 16th that this hell started. We only havew twelve left and no time off for good behavior.
