Mothers of Children with Crohns Community Group
This group is for Moms who have kids with Crohn's disease. Hopefully we can help support each other.
This is a topic I haven't seen yet in this group. I know most of us have other non-crohns kids, and we want to la, ugh with them and give them the attention they deserve, too.
I have a 19-year-old daughter who just went off to college last month. She has always been willful, smart and tells me way more than I want to know. Anyway, she has never made a dime in her life, until yesterday.
Her name is Sydney Hicks. The name of the company that hired her is: Gilly Hicks Sydney !! Now is this fate, or what? When they found out her name, they just HAD to hire her!!! Might be a thing to google for your teen-age kids. There might be a company named after them, too!

That is AWESOME! And your point is very valid. I know we do think about the other kids and want to make sure they don't feel like they only get the left overs.
We are fortunate that the CCFA chapter holds a camp for siblings of kids with chronic illnesses. Our two middle children went last year and LOVED it. This year we hope all three of the siblings can go! The best part...both the Crohn's camp and the sibling camp are totally FREE to us!
