Initially I spent the all morning in bed. Somehow I got myself up in time to go to the kids school Halloween parade. Went trick or treating for a while then came home and gave out some treats and went to bed. I felt so somber all day. Also did no if I wanted to do anything but I felt I had to for the kids but also for myself. It was nice to get out in the fresh air and see the little kids in their costumes. Wish I could go back in time.

I hate halloween & mom never did much for it, so it's the only occasion that doesn't set my mourning off at all.
I was relieved about that all day. woopee!
No kids at home to require anything. I didn't even buy candy, because it's rare for costumers to knock on doors here.
We watched movies all evening, and it was fine.

went and got me a indiv. pizza & coke...then went back to the apt. and watched tv...other then that...nothing.

Worked, came home and hid as I was not up to seeing sweet, smiling little faces this year - sorry :( Sharon

I took the kids trick or treating! It was fun and they got 5 Gallon Freezer bags full of candy!

My mom and I used to pass out the candy - we would take turns. The last Halloween she was so weak that she spent the time in bed. I couldn't enjoy it since she wasn't feeling well. This halloween was so bad for me. My "mom" isn't there and I am fighting this horrible cold. I didn't have a good time.
