Motherless Daughters Community Group
For any daughter who has lost their mother, whether through Death (if it's been one day ago or 40 years ago) or Abandonment, (i.e.-drug abuse, mental illness, physical or emotional abuse, etc.) and is working through the grief process. This group provides unconditional support and understanding from women who have also lost their Moms and who truly care.
Today marks the eighth month since my mom died and I want to scream. I don't know how I'm going to go on. I lost her and my job and I may end up homeless if I can't keep the apartment we shared for many years. I just went on disability for the first time and it's not as much as I had hoped, the bills keep ooming in. I can't really afford my HMO anymore. I need to find a work at home job but haven't been sucessful. I feel completely ungrounded.
I'm so sorry you are going through all of this. The month anniversaries are so hard to cope with. I hope you will be able to keep your apartment. Would you be qualified to receive any further assistance in addition to the disability? My oldest son just started receiving disability and if he wasn't living here at home, he would never be able to survive on the amount of money he is getting. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Take care.
