Motherless Daughters Community Group
For any daughter who has lost their mother, whether through Death (if it's been one day ago or 40 years ago) or Abandonment, (i.e.-drug abuse, mental illness, physical or emotional abuse, etc.) and is working through the grief process. This group provides unconditional support and understanding from women who have also lost their Moms and who truly care.
I lost my mother a year ago March 10, and a day doesn't go by that I don't think of her. We were such a huge part of each other's lives, and it's hard to forget that she's no longer here. I'm very fortunate to have spent 54 years with her, and have many happy memories to hold on to. I, too, feel her presence every day and that gives me comfort. I am confident that she and all the other mothers that we love and miss are watching over and guiding us. I agree with Sharon -- life will never be the same, but somehow through the tears and sorrow we will eventually find peace and happiness. Take care -- Cathy

Its 29 months for me this end, and i feel the same......i still haven't accepted she has gone, it just doesn't feel nor sit right.Am yearning for her so very badly.
Rachele, my mum also loved elvis....we walked into the church following her playing 'love me tender', then on leaving to go outside again follwing her to the song, 'the wonder of you'.
Sending you both and everyone thoughts over from me.

I would imagine that's perfectly normal. Altho, I'm only at 7 months, I miss my mom every single day. She was such a huge part of my life, and I still feel a bit lost without her. Like Sharon, I too, still have her number programed into all my phones, will never take it out. And next week I'm going with my gf on vacation to Las Vegas, and it feels so weird. All my vacations have always included my mom- going up to visit her in RI, taking her up to Maine to visit my son and his family -and this will be the first one without her. It's going to be bitter-sweet.
I think you will always miss your mom, and feel like she's near you. I feel that to and I consider it a blessing.
Hugs,
Carol
