Motherless Daughters Community Group

For any daughter who has lost their mother, whether through Death (if it's been one day ago or 40 years ago) or Abandonment, (i.e.-drug abuse, mental illness, physical or emotional abuse, etc.) and is working through the grief process. This group provides unconditional support and understanding from women who have also lost their Moms and who truly care.

Is my mom trying to contact me?

A number of times I have started to logon to the computer and instead of typing my user name I have instead typed "daughter" or started to. I'm wondering if my mom is reaching my subconcious or is it that I want to see her so badly that my mind is playing tricks on me? Has anyone else been going through this?

I believe anything is possible but in grief we do things sometimes out of confusion of=r as you say, you miss her and want to still be her daughter. It's hard to say. I have always heard finding pennies is a sign - I find them everywhere. My bro in law says it's coincidence. I thnk we should beleive what akes us feel comforted. xo Nancy

I truly believe in our moms being able to send us signs and contact us so i do think this could be her trying to contact you. Yes, it could just be your mind playing games but as nancy said, believe what makes you feel the best.

I believe our mums come back however way they can. Even just to protect you. Might not be able to communicate poperly but just remind yuo that they can see you, and still look after you.
Ive tested my idea that my mum has been around me... playing the beatles (her favourite band, which makes me cry) on shuffle and seeing if her favourite song comes on. Or if im online, looking up something i know will make me cry, she makes me internet connection go offline.

Maybe your mum is just being there the best way she can get be. But its always a comfort even if its your mind playing tricks on you... because you never truely know that it is your mind....

It still happens every so often. I don't think it's me because I'm not thinking about "daughter" at the time but I do think about her alot and miss her more than ever. I wish I could consult a reputable medium but don't want to pay $100 bucks.
