Motherless Daughters Community Group

For any daughter who has lost their mother, whether through Death (if it's been one day ago or 40 years ago) or Abandonment, (i.e.-drug abuse, mental illness, physical or emotional abuse, etc.) and is working through the grief process. This group provides unconditional support and understanding from women who have also lost their Moms and who truly care.

After my Mom and Sister died, I decided to look for my biological Father (he never raised me) he was too busy riding Motorcycles and going to Jail for drug use and sales. But! I knew that I had a half brother and I used to carry hius 1st grade pictures around. I finally found him and he was so excited. He had lost his Mom and then his other half sister (from his Moms side) very close together. SO, we started to talk every week and planned a trip to see each other. I found out that today, he died in his sleep!

I'm so very sorry too, I wish I could say something that would help but, I don't know what. All I can say is, if you need to talk or vent then I'll lend an ear. Get some support too. Your in my thoughts.

ohhhh,,,so sorry for you loss,,i am sorry ,,,dunno why when one terrible thing happen,, must followed by many bereavements,,, i experienced that my self,,,just try to remember,,its god willing,,,we have no choice

Oh Raquel! I am so sorry! I can't imagine the pain that you are in. You have suffered several losses so close together. I am so glad that you at least found him and that he was just as excited to see you as you were him. You were able to talk and even though you will not be able to have a full relationship...the fact that he wanted have you as a sister in his life was wonderful! I will be thinking and praying for you my friend.

Wow...that is so unbelievably terrible. You are having such a tough time, hon. I am so very sorry. There is nothing I can can say because it just doesn't make any sense... why you are being touched by death so many times in such a short period of time? One person sustaining that much grief...you are so strong. It is not fair...you deserve a break from this. We are here for you. Love-Holly

Life is taking a tole it sounds. How will we make it through all these loses. I am so sorry to hear your news. I pray for you Raquel. I hope you can find some strength in this crazy life.
