1.I went to Disneyland in California for one whole week with my Mom and sister at Easter in 1976.
2. I loved spending Thanksgiving with my Mom and other family members. She taught me how to cook Thanksgiving Dinner.
3. I loved my Moms homemade Fried Rice, Macoroni and Cheese from scratch, and Potatoe Soup.
4. My Mom and I loved to watch TV Land which plays old shows like Little House on the Prairie and the Waltons.
5. I loved singing with my Moma nd sister in the car as we drove around we called my Moms car Spirit Wheels and we called ourselves the Three Musketeers!! Hahahahaha

1. MY number one is laying on the couch cuddling with my mom and smelling her hands which for some reason always smelled like Fruit Loops
2. Driving down the road with mom holding hands
3. Waking up in the middle of the night scared and getting into bed with my mom (all the way up till I was 18)
4. Sunday dinners cooked by my mom
5. Going to visit my moms friends from work

1.its got to be the summer holidays you got the whole six weeks of school and xmas
2. i loved going to southerness with mum my and sisters, my and my mum hand a speacial place wee used to sit and watch the sea.
3.my mum wasnt a very good cook she will kill me for saying that but her macoroni cheese was lovely
4.my girl we used to cry our eyes out and the goonies
5.going with her to all her cleaning jobs and helping cause it was just me and her

I am english so had to get my head around holiday and vacation think i got it right :-)

She stayed with me for 3 days in the hospital when i was having my first son after i gave birth she went home around 3.30am and said she needed to catch up on sleep and would i mind if she didn't come into see me next day i didn't mind she had done so much for me i wanted her to rest. But gues what about 11am she came through the door huge big smile a gorgeous new suit for my son and said to that she couldn't stay away she needed to see her grandson again :-)

1) Going to Sarasota, FL with my Mom. It was "our place". I remember the morning we spent at least an hour laughing and counting the kite surfers from our balcony with coffee and breakfast. She loved the beach.
2) Christmas- My Mom went all out every Christmas and made sure it was so special for all of us kids. My Dad would sit there like a grump because he was ticked that she spent money...but she didn't care. She rocked!
3) Beaches or Terms of Endearment...we watched both together when I was a little girl. I remember how I used to daydream that I could sing like Bette and that I would one day sing "wind beneath my wings" to her and dedicate it to her onstage. Terms of Endearment...it was like Mom and I playing out those roles.
4) The Day Bumpers was born. She was in the delivery room. It was the best and most magical day of our lives. She held my hand and told me "now you know how I feel about you." Then she exclaimed "I wish I could put a pink bow in his hair!" That ticked me off because I was pushing like crazy...but it was so classic Mom, it now makes me smile.

1. We went on many vacations as a kid but my favorite was just a few years ago when she bought her house in N.M and I got to experience why she loved it so much.
2. Christmas- she always made it the best!
3. I loves her vegtabkle pizza which really wasnt like a pizza
4. My best memory was when I had all 3 of my kids. She was there through them all the whole time.

I love reading these responses! Please keep them coming! I left one off...My favorite meal as a kid was her roast beef and mashed potatoes, but her specialty was spaghetti!

1. Her being with me when I had my first child.
2. As she lay dying, she asked me would I do her eulogy. (That was very touching)

1. Our vacation in Gatlinburg, TN and white water rafting!.
2. Christmas - mom loved to decorate and we would go cut our own trees which were WAY too big and my dad would have to cut them shorter!
3. A jello salad that we called the "green salad" which she always made when I came home or the cottage chesse/tomato/carrot salad.
4. A movie called "Joe" that came out years ago and there was a lot of cussing in it - it was hysterical to watch my mother's reaction!
5. I miss her soft, gentle ways of never judging and only offering advise when asked. Sharon

1.I remember when us as a Family would go to a place in California called Clear Lake for part of the
summer.
2. My Moms favorite Holiday to Celebrate was lol...Halloween, we would go to the Halloween parade,
and look at how creative everyone was with the costumes they made, and it was just a fun night to be
be together!!!!
3. My favorite meal my Mom made was her oh so famous home-made chili, with corn bread on the side!!!
4. Our favorite tv shows were "In Living Color" we would laugh together a lot!! she also loved anything
that had to do with Alfred Hitchcock and Rod Stirling ...lol it rubbed off on me too!!
5. My favorite childhood memory of my Mother was whenever she would go to the store, and it
happen to be raining, she would let me walk with her under her trench coat to protect me from the cold
and rain.......If I could turn back time!!!!!!!....I miss her sooo much!!

1. Favorite vacation - Family vacation to Cancun to renew my parents wedding vows
2. Favorite holiday - Thanksgiving/Christmas...it's a tie. It was all about family!
3. Favorite meal - Baked ziti...yummy!
4. Favorite show - We loved watching ER, if we weren't watching together, we'd call each other on commercials and after the show to discuss. It was as if we did watch it together.
5. Favorite memory - One of favorite memories of my mom is we used to have a girl's day...just the two of us. We'd go shopping, get a bite to eat, maybe see a movie.

I miss her terribly. Today was hard, I found out that one of my favorite DJs sister and two cousins were just killed in a car accident and the pain I feel for them...it's as if I was brought back to the day my mom was killed in a car accident. It's been three years but I am still grief stricken. :-(
