I had a couple of dreams where mom was alive, talking, smiling, laughing. One that was strange was I dreamt she was in a hospital bed in her living room. She sat up and I said "MOm you're dead" "She said No i'm not" and I woke up. Many of the dreams I've had of her were in the first 6-8 months of her passing. Have not had one since and it's a year in a half now, but I do get signs. Mom likes to send me songs.

Hi DonnaB49, I am sorry that your mother passed away. I don't think the gray in the face has to do with being creamated. My mother passed in 2007, my dad 2005; they both had been creamated. The dreams that I have had of them (seperate dreams) their faces where never gray. The last dream that I had of them,I had to ask who they were...they looked to be in their 30's. They had said,"Your mom" "Your dad"...I said,"No, your not". Every sense then I have not had any dreams where I see their faces. I have had dreams where I felt that they were their.
I am a "fan" of Sylvia Brown; she had stated that it takes alot of their energy for the deceased to "show" up; that could be the reason for the gray face.

Donna, I've had a couple of dreams of my mom, but the best one was one where my brother was taking us all on a cruise, the whole family & inlaws and grandkids, everyone. And there was mom! and I said to her, "mom, you're dead, you can't really be here," to which she replied "I know very well that I'm dead, but I wasn't missing THIS for nothing!!" The dream seemed a very long one, and I woke up feeling so good to have spent all that time with her. :)

I'm not sure the gray has to do with cremation. My mom was not gray in my dream, altho she was cremated also.

when she first passed away i had a dream that she was walking around in my pool in the middle of the night and everyone was with her. but i knew she was dead. so i oculdnt make sense of it.


another dream i had was one where she was walking around our house and no one else seemed to have known that she was dead so they kept talking to her. but i knew that she was gone so i was soooo confused!!

My mom passed away two weeks ago and I have had constant dreams about her. The very first one was the day after her funeral. She always liked to hang out at the bar with me and my friends. So I was at the bar with my friends and she came in with her boss from work(a close family friend too). And I looked at her and was like Mom, you passed away. And she said no I'm not they helped me wake up after you left(she was taken from home to the hospital but they couldnt save her). And I remember the feeling of excitement and happiness and was like ok i have to call the funeral home because they are waiting for you and we are having a viewing tomorrow. and she said yea because im not going anywhere. When I woke up it made me even more sad because I could almost feel her.

awww. thats a tough one... it seems nice that at least she was happy in your dream. she will always be clsoe to your heart!

I have been told that when we have dreams about our mums, we may not necessarily "see" them as they were when they passed.

I agree with KristaLeigh that it is hard when you dream about your mum because its ahrd when you wake and shes not there.

But my personal belief is that it is our mums coming to visit.
