For people who are CURRENTLY morbidly obese by definition. 100 + lbs overweight. If you want to talk about things without being judged or pressured by skinny people telling us how to lose weight, then you will be welcome here. Not meant to be an angry group, but a emotional support group. Please no harassing or bullying. Thank you.

Hey,

I'm new here, and I was out looking for a support group for obese and came across this one. It doesn't seem very active. Is anyone wanting to get it going again? I'm sure there are tons of people out there who, like me, would love someone to chat to, understand us, and for help and support.

I would love some encouragement & visa versa. I would love to lose 70 lbs. Some may say more, but I would be very happy with 70 lbs. How about you?

I also am interested particularly if there were some people that would keep it going. I only have 20 lbs to lose, but I have to lose those 20 lbs 10 times in a row....so we are talking a l-o-o-ng time.
I tried this group last year but gave up because it had so little action.

Sometimes I don't get a good signal. I only am focusing on 10 lbs at a time. I need to quit drinking my regular Pepsi, which I have been addicted to for 40 years or more. I don't drink coffee or tea, just Pepsi. If only I could kick that habit. What is your vice?

Sweets and things made with white flour. And convincing myself I can handle it when I really know I can't. That is why I end up eating the stuff again and not in anyway normal portions. The physical pulls of addictions are not the problem, I can quite craving the stuff in a short time...it's the sneaky emotional part that keeps pulling me back in.
I'm working on that...one of these days I will discover the key to what makes me tick.

I haven't been back for a bit, but I would still very much love a group of active people for discussion and support. I don't know why there is not much out there for this.
