I'm so sorry for you losses. I too have had 2 miscarriages in the last year. The first one I also started bleeding about 6 weeks. Was told I was fine, heartbeat was good by 3 different Drs. Then 3 weeks later went back in for my apt to find no hearbeat. That is had stopped shortly after my US. The second one seemed to not be developing. We could see the sack but no fetus. We went back a week later and there was a hearbeat. I waited a week to have another US to find there once again was no longer a heartbeat. Because I had 2 in a short amount of time and both miscarriages happened at about the same time, I too was referred to a fertility doc. I had a large amount of blood work done to determine if there was anything going on. They found my LH/FSH levels were the same which they are not suppose to be. If one is at 3 then the other should be at 6. The doc. decided to put me on Femara and to do some more blood work and cervical culture. I completed the Femara and went in for US to see where my folicals were at and to have the culture done. They gave me a trigger shot. Then a few days later was called and told I also tested positive for Group Strep B. I also had and HSG X-ray to make sure my tubes and all where good. Which can cause miscarriages they told me. Yeast infections can also be a huge problem. We are not sure if this is the problem or not. They also want to test my husband to see if his sperm are attacking the egg, which would result in miscarriage, I guess. I am very worried that we will not conceive this time or that I will have another miscarriage. I have to do a test in about a week and a half. If positive they will start me on about 6 different meds with a possibility of shots depending on my levels. Not sure if any of this helps you. There is hope!!!! Talk to your doctor. Make sure he is doing blood tests to rule out thryroid, insulin, etc... They wanted to do the Thrombophilin test on me, but it is very $$$$ and not covered by most insurance companies. I was told I do not have to do the test because of the cost and they can treat me like I tested positive. Hang in there! If you need any other info I'm here! You aren't alone!

:( I'm sorry. My first was tubal & 2nd was fetal demise at 11wks ending in dnc. A year later pregnant again & despite all my fears I had a beautiful healthy baby boy!
When my son was 6 mos I got preg again...was not planned, mini pill failed us. Around 9wks all symptoms ceased & confirmes another fetal demise & had to have another dnc.
A year later I got pregnant again and was blessed with another miracle! Another healthy boy!
It was obvious conception was not the prob and 2 was plenty for a time so I had an iud. Last feb my iud was due for removal & we decided not to prevent against it. Only a few months later I got pregnant. Wasn't looking good, symptoms were minimal, couldn't see embryo & within 2 week hcg began dropping instead of rising. Doc suspected blighted ovum (empty sac) though could not confirm because nothing found in sono. The next day the bleeding starting.

Yes. I've been thru whaWhat you're going thru. 4 losses for 3 diff reasons... I don't know what's wrong w me....
But I DO have 2 wild & wonderful boys I wouldn't have if I gave up!

I am going through my 3rd missed miscarriage (all found out from u/s). All within the past 9 months. First time I had a D&C, 2nd time doctor advised against another D&C in such a short time and opted for pills. It was a horrible experience and did not clear the mess. It was a complication that took me more than 2 months to be in the clear. 3rd time, we had IVF as we struggled for a long time (first pregnancy from IUI, second natural right after the first miscarriage without trying) before we got pregnant and hoping that with the prescreen of embryo grading we have a better chance of carrying it to full term. We ran all tests after the 2nd one but everything came back normal. So it is down to the embryo quality therefore we opted for IVF, another reason is my husband travels for work on a weekly basis and has very low morphology (1-2%).
Doctor cannot explain to us what's wrong despite there is a pattern to our miscarriage now. All missed and heart stopped beating at around 8 weeks. I tried to push my doctor to run more immune test, such as NK cells but she said there is no concrete evidence linking NK cells to recurrent miscarriage. She believed it down to the egg quality. I am a healthy and fertile (egg reserve, hormones, uterus everything normal) 33 yrs old and everything suggests egg quality is strictly. For the 4 embryos that ended in miscarriage I need to have eggs of a 43 yr old, may not even get such results.
This post is very old but I hope that someone who had similar experience can share her story and give me hope.

Im so sorry I too have suffered through 3 recently a few weeks ago on 4/16 and had to deliver, I wish they happened early on instead of being viably pregnant and having to explain time and time again what happened, and going through labor and delivery. All I know is im not giving up hope, GET second, third and forth opinions. Don't let fear from preventing you from your dreams. I was told I cant get this or that done because it didn't apply to me, my babies were fine, its me its my body that's doing this,its unfair!! sounds to me from the plans I was going over with my doctor hormone injections would be right for you and constant blood monitoring. Since my problem was my cervix I wasn't a candidate fro that, KEEP FIGHTING and searching for answers
