i was on the ship that was the one that got it started i served on the spy ship the uss maddox the uss turner joy a spy ship was attacked by the north vietnames. we had a picture of that battle on are ship. you can read about that battle by doing a search on the uss maddox it will tell you all about this battle. i read it and found it of great interest too me i suppouse because i served on that spy ship. my miltary records are in the pentagon stamp top secert.
