i hate the fourth of july the shooting of firecrackers sound like gun fire. i jump and am back in nam. are any other vets on this site have the same problem. the people in my ptsd group at the vet center have the same problem. my favorit holiday as a kid is know a holiday that i hate. i will glad when it is over. the day after the fourth i was in a big battle that got me the combat action ribbon so that is very bad i tend to isolate. i pray for all are vets in arms way this fourth of july. i am glad the veterns today are honor when i came back from nam i was spit on and called a baby killer. i am sure people are ashame the way they treated us today. hopefully know vets will ever be treated that way again. today i have forgivin them otherwise it would tear me apart.
