Hi there! My name is Heidi and I am a military spouse. I am currently engaged to my soldier who is gone for a six month training. I thought I would reach out and see if there were any other spouses that understood what it is like to only coomunicate through letters and the occasional phone call. He left the day after Chirstmas and will be back June 7th thankfully. Just before I graduate college. We have been together for about two and a half years and he is my world. We share a rescue German shepard and met in college. My life with him gone consists of diving into school and friends to try to distract myself that the other half of me is thousands of miles away.
