Memories, pressed between the pages of my mind, Memories, sweetened thru the ages just like wine. Come here and remember,, the good times and the bad.

In 1965, I was a right wing conservative college freshman who was in love with folk music. Not an easy thing to be. And Peter, Paul, and Mary was my favorite group. I was attending a small college in Fort Worth, Texas and found out they would be in concert at the big, fancy university in Dallas. The tickets were reasonable so I convinced a couple of my buddies to go and we and our dates stuffed ourselves into an old Studebaker. If you never attended a P,P,& M concert, you missed an experience. First, they were 45 minutes late coming out by design and kept the devoted fans on the edge of their seats. A spot light hit them as they came out and I swear the roof of the gym raised a few inches from the roar of the crowd. Then, the worship service began. The crowd knew the words to all their songs and sang along softly to each of them. Every once and a while a different new song was sung ans after two or three the crowd(Including me), who all the group's record albums knew a new one must be on the way. It was total devotion and worship throughout the concert that lasted about an hour and a half and when it was over, the crowd floated out singing their favorite song.
