Memories, pressed between the pages of my mind, Memories, sweetened thru the ages just like wine. Come here and remember,, the good times and the bad.

You'll see a crazy photo in the photo section of Brother Billy. It was taken at a Halloween party(Big Surprise). If you haven't figured it out, that's me in the dress. No, No. I'm the one with the horns. It was taken a little over 15 years ago and the wayward girl was my steady date at the time. She was an answer to a prayer. A prayer that at least once in my life, I'd date a woman with a large chest. She really fit the bill in spades. I met her at a social club dance. As usual, I was the fifth spoke in the wheel of our group. I'd seen her as I went to get a drink, but never spoke to her. About halfway through the evening, she came over asked me to dance. What a surprise! That led to another and another and another dance, but at the end of the evening, we went our separate ways. I was hooked on her, but hadn't gotten her phone number. Frantic, the next day I called an officer of the club and asked if there was any way I could get her number. It wasn't allowed, but I begged and we set it up where the officer would call her and ask if I could call her. She remembered and told the officer that she didn't think I'd want to see her again, but she really wanted to see me. So, I got the number, called her and set up a meeting. She was just a beautiful as I had remembered her. That weekend we went to a movie. When I took her home, I squeezed her hand and left her at the door. When I called her for another date, she said she hadn't expected me to call again because I didn't kiss her goodnight. I told her I didn't do that on the first date and might not on the second or third if we had one. She couldn't understand why. That's the way I was brought up. Gentlemen didn't do that with ladies. It was a sign of things to come. You see, there was a generation gap. I was 45 and she was 25. She had 2 kids and never married. I was divorced with no kids. She was a free spirit and I was settling down. Whe had some wonderful times and I grew to love her kids as much as I loved her. But, before too long, I learned that there was just too much of a gap in our ages and she wasn't ready to settle down. I was and I was ready to take on the responsibility of her and the kids. After 6 months, it was over. I won't forget her.
