One of my jobs as manager of a national chain pizza outlet was to take all the money in the store to a bank night deposit. I'd pick it up the next morning. The larger stores had a security service pick the money up and take it to the night deposit, but since my store was one of the smaller ones in the district, it was up to me,,,even on my day off. It was about a 10 minute drive from the store to the deposit and was the last thing I did before going home. Well, one night, for some reason, I noticed a car following me. I thought it was just a coincidence. But the next night, I noticed the same car. The third night, I stopped at a 7-Eleven on the way and the car went on down the street, only to get behind me further down the street. The car seemed intent on following me and no matter which way I turned from the normal route it followed. So, instead of going to the night deposit, I drove into another parking lot,,,stopped,,,and leaned on the car horn. The car followed me and stopped. Three or four men came out of building and asked what was going on. I told them who I was, what I was doing, and that the car behind me had been following me from my store for the last three nights. Three of the men went to the car and got the driver out. The men were policemen and the would-be robber had followed me into the police department parking lot!
