I have been having pains in my hands legs and hips. I cannot write with my dominate hand without a brace. I am a migraine sufferer and have been for years. I also have had an accute sun sensitivity for many years that has gotten worse. However these muscle pains are awful. I went to the doctor thinking I had the flu and possibly carpal tunnel...8 weeks later I have this diagnosis. I am grateful that I have an Internal Medicine doctor as my primary who was paying attention. I have an appoinrment with a Rhumetoligist later this month to determine the exact dominate traits and treatment. The pain has been bad lately and ibuprophen and aleve are not working. I had to miss work today. Does anyone have any suggestions for a new-bee? Any help would be amazing. This diagnosis is terrifying with all the stuff you see on the internet. Its a relief to find a group of people who actually have it too and can give solid support and advise. Thank you for being in this group.
