I know it's supposed to be totally normal but I'm terrified. Husband just left for work and I discovered some spotting. I was calm and called the on call doc from my RE's group. She was like it's no big deal. We couldn't even do an ultrasound yet because there's nothing to see yet. She said it's totally normal in the first trimester and 9 out of 10 times, it's nothing. Why am I freaking out? I don't want to lose my baby. She and I are just getting acqainted. My brain says it's normal but my heart doesn't get that.
Did anyone else see any spotting?

I had spotting one day when I was about 6 weeks. It was light pink. I freaked out too but then it stopped. My RE also said it was totally normal. From what I have read on many boards is that it is totally normal and many women experience spotting. Call your RE if you have heavy cramps with spotting. Hang in there! I know it's such a relief to have your first ultrasound but try your best to stay calm until then. Hugs!

Any cramps or back pain? I didn't have it myself, but it is VERY common. How far along are you? Keep us posted!

I'm fine today. It just scared me. No pain or cramps. I'm 4w5d. I talked to my assigned nurse and I feel fine today. Thanks! Ugh! This is such a rollercoaster of emotions!

When is your ultrasound?

Tuesday! I can't wait! No more spotting. Today was the first time that I felt nauseated. My boobs hurt. All good signs, I think!
