So i had my frozen transfer this past Tuesday (in Europe) and thankfully everything went fine. Then we traveled for 24.5 hours and then i had a job interview the next day! Now the hard part comes. I'm 2 or 3dpt (i'm still trying to figure out the whole counting) and starting to focus on every little pang and twing and cramp. This was exactly what i wanted to avoid doing! I'm going to try and focus on other things - like i just got a new job (same day as the interview) in a totally different career field, so that should be something i should be focusing on right? It's just hard to not wonder "hmm i feel awfully hungry lately, or i think my belly/uterus feels full" and everything in between! Uch i refuse to drive myself crazy!
I'm hoping to be able to convince myself that everything i'm feeling is due to the progesterone and end of story.
I'm open to any suggestions or for anyone to put me in my place and remind me that it doesn't work for soooo many people, why should i be any different?
Looking fwd to hearing about how you guys are doing!!
I was the exact same way! You can't even stop your mind for over analyzing every little thing!!! Make sure you stay positive!!! It doesn't work for lots of people... but it also DOES work for tons of people too! You gave yourself the best possible chance to get pregnant. Stay positive and visualize a little baby snuggling up with you for 9 months. If it fails, deal with that when it comes. But in this two weeks, dare to allow yourself to wonder what it will be like if it works! At this point you are pregnant until proven otherwise!!!!
Keep us posted!!!
Thank you!! I will try... in the meantime i will try not to annoy everyone with my constant doubting and negativity!! Positivity!! How are you feeling MrsM!?!?
I am 8dpt on my first IVF cycle. I have actually felt pretty calm up until tonight. I had severe pains (like period cramps) that came out of no where and this out my mind in a different place!! I really hope it's just implantation cramping!!
Before tonight everything has been really good. I would have little pains here and there but reminded myself that this is all normal due to the progesterone shots that I've been taking. I really haven't been too high or too low. Also I've been doing things such as eating pineapple core every night since 5dpt as I have heard if you eat it on an empty stomach it is supposed to help with implantation. My blood test is this coming Wednesday.
Hey BabyWish, thanks for reaching out! I was going to say that we can be crazy hormonal people together, but it sounds like you have it wayyyy to together to join my camp lol..
Congrats on all of this! Was yours fresh or frozen transfer? I think today i'm 5dpt. Like you i'm trying to remind myself that all my feelings are due to the progesterone i'm taking. One thing that is interesting to me though is the intense hunger pains i get randomly. Almost like i haven't eaten in a looooong time, but thats something i' never really had before. Speaking of which i should probably go get something to eat, but i just wanted to wish you luck and let me know your results! Sending you lots of baby dust wishes!!
