Hello! I've not been online and keeping you updated, but I've been so exhausted taking all these hormones! It took 2 cancelled FET cycles until my lining got thick enough. But, this 3rd time, I finally got to a minimum 8mm lining and we transfered 1 PGS normal 5BB embry. I am 2dp5dt.
It took us 2 years of IVF to get here and 1 more year of trying naturally. It was a total of 2 failed IUIs, 7 egg retrievals and 14 months of totally being medicated, plus 1 d&c. I get my first beta test on 7/20/18. If this does not work, we do have 1 more normal embie on ice and a handful of abnormals.
I'll keep you updated. I am praying and nervous and have so many symptoms, but they could also be the darned progesterone, so I am trying to remain calm.
Hope you're all doing good and I send you my prayers and hope!
WOW!!! What a journey. I can only imagine how anxious you are. What are you doing to stay preoccupied? Do you dare take a home test? Gah!
I just posted a (long) response to your post, so you may know that I am hopeful to be in your shoes soon. Any advice on diet, exercise, questions for the doctor, dosages of meds - anything - is helpful!
I am super anxious! I did HPTs at home and so far, haven't gotten a clear positive and today is 7dp5dt. I had my beta hcg test this morning. Have to wait until early evening for results. Today I feel cold and having distinct AF cramps. I am trying to stay positive, but I feel like maybe this didn't work if I haven't gotten a clear positive yet. Ok, I'll go check out the other post!
Bad news. It was negative! Donor egg. PGS tested and still didn't stick. We have one more normal one left. We'll try again next month then regroups if that one doesn't stick.
Thank you for sharing, and I am sorry to hear the bad news. I imagine you're going through a tougher moment now compared to some others, and wishing you peace and health during this time and throughout your journey. Keep us posted on your progress and protocol next month. I still appreciate any tips on questions to ask the doc - how much estrogen, and lupron, etc. to help get that uterine lining niiiccce and thick. Regardless of outcomes, your experience will remain helpful and inspirational to us :)
Thank you, Hopeful! I am feeling better. I felt down, but there have been so many blows so far, that I actually handled it well. The journey is only making me stronger. I will check out your other posts and yes! I am here for you if you have any questions!
