Has anyone who has been pregnant in the past experienced any implantation symptoms after IVF? I know they say implantation symptoms mimic menstrual cramps, but I was just curious to know your experiences. I am currently 3.5 days past a 5-day transfer and I can't help but wonder if all the twinges and aches are signs of implantation or just results from the PIO shots and Estrace I am still taking every day. I keep checking for any spotting, but unfortunately I have not had any. Patience is obviously not one of my virtues!
I had cramps but not spotting. I mean like serious menstrual cramps. I would run to the restroom convinced that I had started my cycle, but fortunately no spotting. It's so hard to know at this stage. And it's so hard to wait for all of us! I remember developing other symptoms like nausea, irritability, breast tenderness just a few days before 2ww was up. Keep us posted and keep the questions coming! We are all here to support one another!
I still have a ways to go seeing that I am only a few days in, but I've read that implantation spotting can occur from 3-5 days after a five day transfer. I haven't felt any nausea, but I have had breast tenderness (understatement) since the start of the second week of stims. I want to use my heating pad so badly on my lower back to relieve some of the pain from PIO shots but have read conflicting theories regarding that. Thoughts?
My OB and RE were/are absolutely opposed to any heat on the back, belly even in my lap. I can't use my laptop in my lap! That's probably extreme, but I guess better safe than sorry
I did use a heating pad for injection site on my buttocks and they were ok with that for a few minutes a day.
Feel better soon! I think all of your symptoms are a good sign!
I was STARVING for two days when I implanted with my daughter... I'm talking second lunch style starving LOL And I didn't even put the two together! It lasted two solid days and then I was back to normal. I never had any cramping or spotting. I have read that only about 33% of ladies have spotting during implantation, and it can be very slight. Though my sister had spotting enough so that she wore a panty liner for a day or two thinking it was the onset of her cycle!

I was also told no heating pad on the back or front. My doc was also ok with the heat on the PIO injection site for a couple minutes before the shot.
Good luck!
