Hello out there! After my original FET cycle was cancelled in June, I am now gearing-up for my second try, transfer date (tentatively) scheduled for Sept. 11th. I am so excited... and so nervous, because what if we have to cancel again? It wasn't a great feeling, and I want to protect myself from the disapointment. The nurse told me to stay calm, positive, and start talking to my uterus in preparation for my baseline U/S next week. So, one step at a time: here we go, uterus!! 

Thanks to Hope114, I asked a lot of questions about bloodwork, and estrogen dosages, and feel like I learned a lot more about my last try, and the doctor's assessment and action plan for this protocol. I am looking forward to the baseline to see whether my ovaries are "clear" of any follicles or cysts, which wasn't the case last time and which led me to ovulate, even with the Lupron, which I (basically) understand typically suprresses ovulation and clears-out cysts.

If in the clear, I think my chances are better overall, and I'll be able to take estrogen longer - the protocol this round calls for three weeks instead of two, and I need the help to thicken-up. Even if there are signs of follicles/cysts at baseline, I understand that I'll start Lupron and continue protocol regardless through my lining check(s), but I have my fingers crossed that I'm in the clear. One step at a time... here we go uterus!!
