Well guys, I found out yesterday that I actually have an ectopic pregnancy. It has been a long and stressful road and I am devastated, of course, but I am relieved to finally have an answer and a plan to move forward. I will get some shots of methotrexate today and hopefully I won't need surgery.

I'm so sorry hun.
I had an ectopic pregnancy in January and it was the worst thing ever. I feel your pain. Please try to stay strong. Will be thinking about you. Take care of yourself.

I am so sad to read this. It's so hard to try and reconcile why some people have to go through so much. I hope the recovery is quick. Thinking of you & sending you lots of love.

Thanks ladies! Feeling weird and paranoid, like I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop and I'll have to go to emergency surgery. Really trying to stay positive that these meds will work!

Go back on Monday for another beta, doctor said not to be surprised if the number goes up even more at that point. Then I go back next Friday for another beta and hopefully the number goes down by then, otherwise I'll need another dose of the methotrexate.

Beta number went up even more like doctor said it might, it's almost 4900 now. Feeling crappy, hopefully meds do their thing and it starts dropping now.

Doctor called me today and said they had the wrong number, beta is actually more like 6500. Go back Friday for another beta.

Jeeze louise!!! Are you starting to feel pain at all? I hope this doesn't land you in the ER :(

A little pain, but not too bad. They basically said not to worry unless I'm doubled over in pain, which hasn't happened yet. As long as number goes down with Friday's beta, I should be good. Positive thoughts!
